Delete your CrewSuite account

A CrewSuite account is the shared sign-in used by CrewCalc and CrewBook. You can delete it yourself from inside CrewCalc on iOS or Android, or ask us to delete it for you. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. On Android, if the server cannot be reached the app removes its local keys and reports a server-delete warning; the account itself is not deleted until that request succeeds.

Delete it in the app

• CrewCalc for iOS: Settings → Account & Sync → Delete Account, then type your username to confirm.
• CrewCalc for Android: Settings → Sync → Delete account → Confirm delete.
• CrewBook signs in with the same account but does not delete it. Use CrewCalc, or send the request below.

You must be signed in as the account you are deleting. Shared read-only demo accounts cannot be deleted.

Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from an address you can verify, with your CrewSuite username. We will confirm the request with you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• The account record itself, including the username and password verifier. A GEMS number bound to the account is released so it can be claimed again.
• Every encrypted data blob stored for the account (CrewCalc settings, trips, ledger, accruals, bidding, retirement, OOOI, and the CrewBook backup), together with the server’s version history of those blobs.
• The account’s cross-device OOOI mailbox.

The server only ever holds this data as ciphertext it cannot read; deletion removes the ciphertext entirely.

What is kept

• A subscription transaction record, so that a subscription Apple or Google Play keeps billing can be honored if you create a new account. It is retained until the subscription lapses or a re-created account claims it. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription; cancel that in the store.
• A lifetime allowance tally keyed to a one-way hash of your GEMS number, or to your username if the account has none, retained to prevent delete-and-re-register abuse.
• Limited security and operational log entries, which may include the account username, IP address, and app or browser identifier, retained only as long as reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations.

What deletion does not touch

Data on your own devices and any copies you exported are not on our servers, so deleting the account does not remove them. Delete local data through the app or by uninstalling it, and remove exported files, iCloud Drive files, or other copies where you saved them.
